In recent years, with the deepening of the Belt and Road Initiative, an increasing number of countries have recognized and actively responded to it. Among them, Middle Eastern countries have become an important target region for domestic enterprises to expand into the international market due to their geographical location and market potential. As early as 2022, Gensol began planning to explore resources in the Middle East, committed to providing support for domestic enterprises to enter the Middle East.
On November 22, 2023, Mr. Khaled Fahad Alalawi, Deputy Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain, visited Gensol to discuss future cooperation between the two parties. As a cross-border technology innovation service platform, Gensol will fully utilize its advantages to carry out cooperation in technological innovation, talent exchange, market expansion, and industrialization of technological achievements. It will act as a bridge and support for Chinese companies with a Middle East strategy and Bahraini companies wishing to develop in China. Both parties expressed in the discussion that they would actively work together to promote cooperation between enterprises of China and Bahrain, aiming to create a comprehensive and multi-domain industrial cooperation ecosystem.
Taking this exchange as an opportunity, Gensol will delve into the characteristics and needs of the Middle East market, actively seek practical solutions, and build a mutually beneficial platform for Chinese and Bahraini enterprises. This will facilitate cooperation and exchanges between the two countries’ enterprises in areas such as technological innovation, green industries, and the digital economy, contributing to the joint construction of the Belt and Road.”
