On December 29, 2022, journalists from the renowned Swiss German-language daily newspaper “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” conducted an interview with Mr. Qiu Feng, the CEO of Gensol.
“Neue Zürcher Zeitung” is a long-established and influential German-language newspaper in Switzerland. Originally founded as the “Zürcher Zeitung” in 1780, it changed its name to “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” in 1821. The newspaper represents the financial capital interests of Zurich, with a rich international news content and a circulation of 130,000 copies, including international distribution. It has had a significant impact since the establishment of the English monthly magazine “Swiss Review of International Affairs” in 1951.
During the interview, Mr. Qiu Feng remarked, “Strict pandemic policies have made business interactions between Chinese and overseas companies challenging. However, Gensol, to overcome this difficulty, not only maintains communication with overseas companies through online meetings but also regularly organizes online seminars to provide better insights into the current development of various industries in China for overseas companies.” When discussing the current situation where pandemic policies have relaxed, Mr. Qiu Feng stated, “The Chinese government and businesses are actively engaging with overseas companies. Gensol is preparing for government-led business activities in Europe in February and March, promoting the business environment in Shenzhen and actively attracting foreign enterprises to invest in China.”
Recognized as one of the “Top Ten Overseas Innovation Centers in Shenzhen” by the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission, Gensol integrates and optimizes innovation resources from Europe and domestically. The center actively promotes in-depth cooperation in international innovation project incubation and international technology transfer. Through online/offline events, financing roadshows, project matchmaking meetings, overseas industrial visits, and other activities, Gensol aims to share new opportunities in the field of technological innovation, promote collaborative development between China and Europe in industrial innovation, and contribute to the construction of the Shenzhen International Science and Technology Innovation Center.
