On November 14, 2025, a delegation of students and faculty from Austria’s MCI Management Center embarked on a one-day deep dive into Shenzhen’s innovation landscape. Hosted by Gensol Tech Innovation Center as an international platform for collaboration, the visit aimed to immerse young global talents in Shenzhen’s dynamic ecosystem and enhance their understanding of the Greater Bay Area’s development through firsthand experiences and high-level exchanges.
A highlight of the tour was the delegation’s visit to the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), renowned as the nation’s premier tech exhibition. The students were captivated by advancements in AI, new energy, biomedicine, and smart manufacturing, with many noting that the scale and innovation on display “exceeded expectations.” The fair served not only as a window into China’s technological progress but also as a vivid demonstration of Shenzhen’s pioneering spirit.

Beyond technology, the group engaged in a roundtable discussion with officials from Shenzhen’s Futian District. Representatives detailed the district’s innovation policies, industrial advantages, and business-friendly environment. During the interactive session, lively conversations about urban development and quality of life deepened mutual understanding.

The day concluded with a visit to the Ping An Finance Center, where the students admired panoramic views of Shenzhen’s skyline. From high-tech exhibitions to urban landmarks, the experience offered a holistic perspective on the city’s rapid growth and global ambitions.

This visit was more than a study tour—it was a cultural and intellectual exchange. Gensol Tech Innovation Center will continue to bridge global innovators with Shenzhen’s ecosystem, providing international youth with opportunities to engage with China’s innovation story while contributing diverse perspectives to the city’s development.
