Driven by globalization, expanding overseas and attracting global resources has become a key path for companies to overcome growth bottlenecks. To help Futian District enterprises seize opportunities and tackle challenges, the Futian Enterprise Service Station Virtual Park series and the Yiqi LINK · Futian High-Quality Overseas Expansion Seminar were successfully held on December 6, 2024, at the Shenzhen New Generation Industrial Park, attracting over 30 local company representatives.
The event was guided by the Futian District Enterprise Service Center, hosted by the Shenzhen New Generation Industrial Park, and organized by Gensol (Shenzhen) Tech Innovation Center Co., Ltd., with support from companies including Shenzhen Jiatui Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Smart Park Operations Services Co., Ltd. On-site, leading law firms, overseas business consulting agencies, and AI service providers discussed key topics such as international tax compliance, IP protection, and smart technology solutions, aiming to integrate domestic and international resources and explore new strategies for high-quality overseas expansion of Futian enterprises.
The event opened with a speech by Ye Weiqiang, Deputy Director of the Futian District Enterprise Service Center. He highlighted Futian’s strengths and support for overseas expansion, introducing the upgraded “Futian Virtual Park | Fu i Enterprise” 2.0. The platform links government, associations, buildings, and service agencies, providing accessible, comprehensive support to enterprises. The Center will continue working with partners to enhance services and help companies grow.


In the keynote session, KPMG Directors Lai Zixian and Zhu Guanbin shared insights on international tax compliance. Lai focused on global tax reforms under the BEPS 2.0 framework, including reallocation of taxing rights and the global minimum tax, highlighting the need for proactive tax planning. Zhu used real cases to discuss challenges faced by Chinese companies abroad, such as complex tax systems and repatriation taxes, recommending the use of treaties and incentives to navigate strict regulations and enhance competitiveness.

Next, Dr. Cui Jun, Senior Partner at DeHeng Law Offices, delivered a speech on “IP Protection and Strategies under the New China-US Relationship.” He analyzed how shifting US-China relations impact corporate IP protection and offered practical strategies, based on real cases, to help companies mitigate risks and safeguard core competitiveness.

Shenzhen Jiatui Technology Co., Ltd. launched its innovative business tool for overseas expansion — the AI Business Card. Combining AI and big data, it allows companies to showcase their brand, products, and services, while analyzing customer behavior and needs. The tool helps businesses establish efficient, targeted communication with clients, enhancing the effectiveness and precision of international market outreach.

To help companies navigate cultural differences and develop effective overseas strategies, Christoph Kovac, CEO of European consulting firm QT Advisor, analyzed global expansion trends and Europe’s unique advantages. He highlighted Hungary’s strategic location, stable economy, favorable tax policies, and skilled workforce as an ideal gateway for companies entering the European market.

During the interactive session, participants discussed challenges faced by Futian enterprises in going global and explored ways to integrate domestic and international resources. The event provided a high-level, broad, and collaborative platform, helping companies gain clear insights and practical guidance for high-quality overseas expansion.
Looking ahead, Shenzhen New Generation Industrial Park will leverage its industrial ecosystem and business-friendly environment to connect more professional resources, supporting companies in expanding overseas and moving from “going out” to a full “global presence.”
