Successful Hosting of European Medical Technology Enterprise Roadshow
Following the visit to Europe by the delegation led by Zhou Jiangtao, Deputy Secretary of the Futian District Committee and District Mayor of Shenzhen Futian District, in February 2023, positive progress has been made in China-Europe exchange and cooperation. On May 19, 2023, the delegation organized by Crystalline (Shenzhen) Technology Innovation Center Co., Ltd., consisting of representatives from 8 European medical technology companies (iThera Medical, OPNT, Healiva, Abi Global Health, ANVAJO, AB-CT, CANCER CARE COMMISSION, VISSEIRO), successfully took place in Futian New Generation Industrial Park! Members of the delegation came from Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Ireland. All European companies expressed the desire to establish subsidiaries in China in 2023 and, under suitable conditions, set up regional or national headquarters in Shenzhen. The purpose of this event is to promote the development plans of European companies in the Chinese market and establish connections with potential partners in Shenzhen.
The event attracted many elites, including local investors, entrepreneurs, and experts from Shenzhen. Nearly 20 investment institutions such as Oriental Fuhai Investment Management Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Futian Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Konka Capital Equity Investment Management Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xibo Innovation Investment Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Yuanchuangli Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and research institutions such as Shenzhen Tsinghua University Research Institute participated.
During the event, officials from the Futian District Development and Reform Bureau attended and delivered speeches. The Futian Development and Reform Bureau stated that the medical and health industry in Futian District is in a golden period of development with huge market demand and broad prospects. The Futian government will provide European companies landing and development in Futian with higher quality and more efficient services and support. At the same time, more European technology companies are welcomed to Futian to jointly promote continuous innovation breakthroughs in China-Europe science and technology cooperation and achieve win-win results.
The roadshow covered European medical technology companies from fields such as artificial intelligence, medical devices, and biotechnology, which already have considerable commercial value and market position in the European market. The CEOs and co-founders of each European company in the delegation gained a more comprehensive understanding of the Chinese market through the event. They expressed their commitment to accelerate the process of landing and developing in China, establish ecological cooperative relationships with Chinese business partners, and industrialize advanced medical technology in China.
